Purple Wiggle John borrows co-star’s twins for cheeky workout

The Wiggles family is growing, and there’s no shortage of babysitters on set. 
John Pearce, who is best known as the Purple Wiggle, is due to welcome his first bub with his wife Jesse later this year, and got in some practice with co-star Caterina Mete’s twins. 
In a cheeky video shared on Instagram he asked Caterina if he could take Gigi and Dolly – who were tucked up in their capsules – for a walk. 
But they didn’t head out for a walk. Watch what happened in the video above.

John – who plenty of mums have affectionately nicknamed the ‘hot Wiggle’ – instead took the girls out to use them for help with a workout. 
“There’s always time for a quick workout 😂 💪🏽,” he captioned the video. 
With the help of the girls in their capsules, which every parent knows can get quite heavy after a while, he whipped out a few bicep curls, lunges and arm raises. 
Dolly and Gigi slept through the whole thing and he took them back to Caterina’s dressing room sleeping soundly in their capsules.

Plenty of parents loved the cheeky video and think it’s getting him in a good routine for when he becomes a dad himself. 
“This is hilarious! 😂❤️ also good practice for the future,” commented one person.
Another added, “You’re going to be a great dad!” 
But the big wow factor was the fact that he made it look so easy with two car sears. 
“Those car seats are heavy so that was a great workout,” replied one person.

Another commented, “How did you just lateral raise those babies. Now you’re just showing off.”
John and Jesse shared the exciting news that they were pregnant in June.
They also shared their gender reveal, popping a big black balloon to reveal blue confetti.
Meanwhile, Caterina announced the arrival of her twin girls in July, after undergoing IVF to fall pregnant.
“I didn’t want to have any regrets,” she previously told 9honey Parenting of her decision to embark on motherhood as a single mum.
“I’m a person who likes to do things on their own and I’m happy with my own company so to speak.”
“But I thought, ‘I don’t wanna have to wait for somebody who may or may not ever come’ or may come years down the track,” she continued. “So I just thought I have to do this.”
